CST300 Week 1: APA Format & Team Meetings

 It's been a while since I've written an essay at al. If I'm remembering correctly, a lot of my past writings have been in MLA format. I can see how this structure would be more useful for research purposes. It's more straight forward and to the point. The readings for this week had to do with how to structure an APA formatted essay and how to correctly site them. This was a great refresher for me. There were also readings about plagiarism and how to avoid that in our work. Definitely understand the importance of submitting your own work. What I hadn't really thought about was the overuse of quotes from other sources. I didn't realize that even though they can be sited correctly, if you use too much, then your paper can be considered plagiarized. 

My team and I also met this week to discuss our meetings and agreed on what day/time to meet with our professor.
